THE DISTRICT IS ESTABLISHED BY:

Chingeltei District was first established by Resolution No. 18 of the Great Khural of Mongolia on August 18, 1992. Subsequently, by Resolution No. 31 of the People's Deputies of Ulaanbaatar on September 1, 1992, it was organized into 18 committees as the primary administrative and territorial units.

The district has a total area of ​​8,930 hectares. Of this:

Land with forest reserves: 37.1 %

Agricultural land: 30.3%

Towns, villages, roads and railways: 27.0%

Areas with reservoirs: 4.5%.
